    When you enter the Roman Experience, you walk into a 29 x 26 m exhibit. Throughout the exhibition space, projections bring the small, late antique fort to life. It’s time to immerse yourself in the sounds and sights of 500 AD!

    THE ROMAN COLLECTION IN WALLSEE
    Visitors can enjoy a journey through four centuries of history – at a time when Wallsee was home to Roman soldiers. History is explained using exhibits found in Wallsee. Civilians also left their mark on Wallsee – fragments of the largest bowls in the Roman Empire are on display here.

    About the Museum Association

    About the Museum Association

    The Museum Association (Museumsverein) was founded in May 1991 and has since managed all private tours of the Roman Museum, the Roman Town and the Roman Experience. The Chairman of the Association, Johann Wahl, and his team will be delighted to take you on a guided tour as you delve into the exciting world of the Romans.

    The Roman Museum is open from 6–7 p.m. on Wednesdays from May to September, without appointment.

    The Roman Experience is open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. all year round. Admittance with an entrance token.
